Andrew Patrick Edwards was born in Trinidad, West Indies, and
immigrated to Canada in 1962. He has been residing in Edmonton for the past fifty years. Before I continue, allow me to help you to relax your mind with a little magic here is the link to
Andy has been writing plays and short skits since in his teens and young adulthood. He has produced, directed and acted in several plays and in some productions he has played multiple characters. However, that all changed after coming to Edmonton, this was due to the fact that he became very involved in the Caribbean and the Edmonton community, as well as raising a family and working, sometimes at two jobs. Andy's wife Lenora, died in January 1994
ANDY NOW
He retired from his job as an Engineering Tech with the Alberta Provincial Government in January 1997, and got married again in July 1998 to Myrna Pilgrim. In July 2002 he started his house building Construction Company, Hummingbird Homes Inc., building new spec homes. Andy retired from that in February 2007.
It was in 2007 when Andy began to devote more time into his writing, and has kept on going ever since. Andy also spends a lot of time travelling every year with his wife.
