Here is a peek inside my last book, CARIBBEAN & PHILIPPINE JOMBIES INVADE NORTH AMERICA TIYANAK HORROR CONTINUES A mother and father, who managed to get their three year old boy and four year old girl into their van and drove out of the parking lot just before all the commotion started, are well on their way, heading home when they realized that the children were unusually very quiet. The wife says to her husband. “Darling we haven’t heard a word from the kids since we left the mall.” And he replies. “I guess they must be very tired from all that walking around in the mall, honey, could you raise the volume on the radio please? There is something on the news about that Mall.” She turns up the volume but a commercial is in progress. “What did you hear Dad?” his wife inquires. “Oh, they were just saying something about some horrible looking creatures that were running around in the parking lot at the mall, killing little children.” She laughs and says, “Oh, come on Dad you don’t believe that, do you? You know that, that must be all part of the whole Halloween thing, anyway, it is good that we decided to leave there a little earlier to avoid the mad rush with everyone trying to leave the parking lot at the same time.” He agrees with her and continues driving. He is now pulling up on their drive way, he turns off the engine and says to his wife. “Honey I will go at the end of the driveway to fetch the recycle box, in the meantime you can wake up the kids.” He leaves her and heads down the driveway, while she walks to the side door of the van and slides it open. As soon as the door opens, two of the ugly little creatures which others had described before, leaps out from the back seat, knocks her down. She screams and rises quickly from the pavement of the driveway, then rushes to get the children from the van, while the two creatures run down the driveway, passing her husband at the end, then across the street and enters into the neighbor’s yard. Her husband is now on his way up the driveway to assist her, but just before he gets to her, she is attempting to lift the little girl from the seat, but she is shocked with the sight that confronts her, she sounded off with another loud, deafening and continuous screaming and then she fell back onto the driveway striking her head on the concrete, she passes out. Her husband, who is now at her side, is trying to revive her, while several of the neighbors who heard the first screams, are now on the driveway, and several of them are offering their assistance. One of them is asking him. “Where are the children Jim?” He sprung up; unaware of what his wife had discovered that caused her to faint, he replies to the question. “Oh my goodness, the kids, they are sleeping in the back seat.” He enters the van to wake them, but as he picks up the first child and passes her to a neighbor who is standing right there at the door of the van, waiting with his hands outstretched, they both notice at the same time that the child’s clothing is saturated with blood, and it is dripping on the driveway, he then immediately checks the other child in the van and yells out. “Oh God, No, No, What did those darn little creatures do, they killed my children.” The neighbor now looking very confused, asks him. “What are you talking about Ron, what creatures? How did they get into your van and where are they now?” Ron is now very confused, he is unable to answer any of the questions, and this is making the neighbor very suspicious. When Ron’s wife screamed out the first time, a neighbor called the police. They arrived a few minutes ago, and they called the paramedics. They are on the driveway now, putting his wife on a stretcher, Ron is asking them. “How is she doing will she be okay?” “She is still in shock, but she has regained consciousness.” The police have started to question Ron, and are even trying to get permission from the paramedics to question his wife. Ron explained to them exactly what had transpired from the time they left the Mall, and two neighbors confirmed that they had heard the news on the radio earlier, about one hour ago. The ambulance just pulled up in front of the house and they are taking the bodies of the children away. Two neighbors have just collapsed when they saw the children with their bellies ripped open and their eyes dug out from their heads. They are taking the mother to the hospital, and Ron to the police station for more questioning because they do not quite understand how did all that happen to the children and the parents never heard or noticed anything. The following day, the news media is reporting, that the police confirm that amongst all the dead children, they also found three dead women; the hospital confirmed later, that their deaths occurred from shock which caused a cardiac arrest. The expression on their faces indicated that they had witnessed something that was very traumatic. The death total that the hospital has reported is eleven children and three adults, and another ten children and four adults are in hospital. This number includes the two children in the van and their mother who is now in hospital. The police now have the father in custody for further questioning.
